What In-Home Care Services are covered by Medicaid in Missouri?
In-home care services provide non-medical assistance with daily living activities or skilled nursing to help monitor a patient’s health. The goal of the in-home care services is to keep you out of the hospital, rehabilitation facility, or nursing home – and keep you in your home.
In-home care services help those with a disability, a chronic illness, respite care, or help the elderly age in place. Missouri residents must qualify for both Medicaid and for the Home & Community Based Services (through MO Health Net).
Advantage Home Care has skilled nurses and non-medical caregivers who work in the home of eligible Medicaid recipients.
